Directions

From The South

• Take Route 95 North to Exit 44 (old exit 6A).
• This will put you on 295 North.
• From 295 North, take Exit 28 (old exit 22, Rockland/Brunswick) onto Rte. 1 North.
• Follow Rte. 1 North through the town of Thomaston.
• Turn right onto Rte. 131 just before Montpelier, the Knox Mansion.
• Follow Rte. 131 South (please be aware of the signs for 131)
• Port Clyde and Monhegan Boat Line are at the very end of Rte. 131.
• Look for a blue-grey building with a Monhegan Boat Landing sign at the head of the dock.

From The North

• From Bangor, follow Rte. 1A.
• From Bucksport, take a right onto Rte. 1 South.
• Follow Rte. 1 South through the town of Rockland.
• Take a left onto Rte. 131 just after Rockland, the road just after Montpelier, the Knox Mansion.
• Follow Rte. 131 South (please be aware of the signs for 131)
• Port Clyde and Monhegan Boat Line are at the very end of Rte. 131.
• Look for a blue-gray building with a Monhegan Boat Landing sign at the head of the dock.

The drive from Portland is about 2 hours.

The drive from the beginning of Rte. 131 to the end is about 14 miles
