BioBricks™

The Cordwood Alternative™ for your woodstove

One 4x4x3-foot pallet delivers more heat than a cord of wood!*

  • BioBricksConvenient – easier to store
  • Clean – less mess, no bugs
  • Green - environmentally friendly
  • No kindling required – lights with newspaper
  • Greenhouse gas neutral
  • 100% wood – a renewable energy source
  • Made in the USA

Ideally sized for your woodstove, BioBricks™’ convenient shape and size allow you to pack every corner of your stove with high-density fuel to extend burn time dramatically. Compared with good, seasoned cordwood, BioBricks™ produce half as much smoke and particulates. They are far less polluting, as they recycle carbon in the atmosphere. Gas and oil, in comparison, use up unrenewable resources and put more carbon into the air (the average oil-heated house puts five tons of new carbon into the atmosphere every year).

BioBricks™ are 100 percent wood with less than 1 percent ash and less than half the moisture content of cordwood. That means you get much more heat out of each BioBrick™, rather than just converting wood’s moisture content to steam and sending it up the chimney.

BioBricks™ are twice as dense as cordwood (about the same density as coal), giving  you more than twice the burning time.
